Introduction to The Cabin

The Cabin was a journal that I wrote during the second week of class. It was a show not tell assignment. It was very hard at first to try to describe a place without actually telling what you were talking about. I choose this piece because this is a place that is really dear to my heart. I also choose it because I was really impressed how easy it was after brain storming the descriptive words that my writing fell into place. I also felt that I used strong descriptive wording such as "hot glowing fires and majestic mountains." I found this piece very easy to write.
